Craig Campbell has spent 17 years in the gate automation industry and has traded as Almond Electric Gates Ltd since March 2019. From a dedicated workshop in Livingston, the team designs and manufactures every gate to measure, then installs and automates it themselves.
Around 80–85% of our work is residential, but we also deliver high-security commercial contracts across Scotland – safari parks, hospitals, storage facilities and cold vaults among them.
We do not subcontract. Fabrication, galvanising, powder coating, timber and aluminium infill, groundwork, electrical work, automation and commissioning are all handled by our own people. It keeps quality consistent and it means there is only ever one number to call.
After installation the relationship carries on. Think of us the way you think of a good mechanic: routine servicing, fixed-price call-outs and someone on the phone when something is not right.
All engineers are trained and certified to Gate Safe standards for safe, compliant automation.
Electricians, fabricators and groundworkers on the payroll — not hired in per job.
Over 100 positive Google reviews, with after-sales care the most common theme.
Almond Electric Gates Ltd incorporated March 2019, backed by 17 years of industry experience.
We install and repair CAME, FAAC, BFT, NICE, Roger Technology, Beninca and other industry-standard equipment.
Bespoke automated gate packages typically start around £5,000–£7,000 + VAT, quoted clearly up front.
